Having dominated the animation world for the best part of a century, Disney will surely remain the primary source of family entertainment for 
decades to come. With the excellent Zootopia having just won Best Animated Feature Film at the 2017 Oscars, the future looks bright for the movie giant. Fans certainly have plenty to look forward to, including the following eagerly anticipated titles.
Live Action Remakes
A number of old favourites are due for a reboot, such as Beauty and the Beast, Mulan and Mary Poppins, bringing animated characters to life in the style of the recent successes of Cinderella and The Jungle Book.
Sequels
The third Cars movie, Incredibles 2 and Toy Story 4 are just a selection of the promised Disney features to be released within the coming three years. The most fervently awaited sequel though is of course Frozen 2. The original holds the honour of the highest grossing animated film of all time, so expectations are off the charts for its successor. With musical sequels notoriously disastrous, only time will tell if Elsa and co. can live up to the hype and once again capture the imagination of kids across the globe.
